We have added 4 new species of animals to our growing collection. Over the next few days we will be revealing them to you!

Wilbur was in need of having his tusk filed down, one of them was beginning to cut into his cheek. So we called our veterinarian Dr. Ed Gilsleider from the Animal Medical Center in Claremore and he came out set things right with Wilbur.
Wilbur is doing fine now and eating well.

This was the first time Lou has ever held a snake. He did a great job.

As always we had a fantastic time with Lou & Faith at the KEOK 102.1 Lakes Country studio.

Occasionally a tortoise (or turtle) beak grows to long and has to be trimmed back so they can feed better. This is Ivan, he is a Horsfield's Tortoise aka a Russian Tortoise. His beak has grown a little long so Maria is trimming it back. This does not hurt the animals at all, in fact it is just like you trimming your fingernails.

The animals love the sunny spring like weather. This is Delilah, she was rescued from an owner from Illinois who could not take care of her anymore.

Zoo Safari USA is working toward a new species of animals for our lectures. The animal is called a Genet, a small species of carnivore from Africa.

Dr. Crofford, a teacher with the Woodall School district outside of Tahlequah Oklahoma, was asked if he and the students could organize a penny drive to raise the funds for this wonderful animal.

This is our seventh year giving our educational program at the Pryor Oklahoma Jr. High School for Mrs. Soap's and Mr. Hodges' science classes.

Spring is just around the corner and animals babies are being born. Please if you see them, leave them alone mamma did not abandon them and she is watching you.

Rosie, our Common Red Tail Boa is 5 feet long, when she is full grown she will be 8 feet long and weigh up to 75 pounds. 

The Hedgehog has up to 7000 quills covering its body.

The Blue Cobalt Tarantula is also known as the Phase Spider because of its ability to move so quickly.
